Position Summary
RSI is recruiting for a Deputy Project Manager who is responsible for supporting project managers with overseeing complex projects from conceptual designs/scoping through field implementation to project closeout efforts. Ensures safety, environmental, quality, budget and schedule goals are met by their team(s).

Status: Full-Time
FLSA: Exempt
Hiring Range: $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year. (The anticipated starting salary is based on the posted minimum requirements for this position. The offered salary will be based upon the selected applicant’s education, training, and experience.)
This position is required to travel up to 20% of the time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide technical management support for the Major Projects team.
- Providing project coordination and oversight for complex construction projects.
- Under general supervision, serves as field work coordinator on assigned projects/programs.
- Performs surveillance for field compliance with projects, procedures, and associated work plans.
- Coordinates personnel & equipment and materials needed for field projects.
- Leading and directing subcontractors.
- Conducts field project readiness reviews.
- Submits field documentation to records unit.
- Represents Major Projects Project Manager for field activities.
- Develops statements of work for subcontractors.
- Assists with development of cost estimates.
- Assists with project scheduling.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Years of Relevant Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Accounting, or related field. Experience in lieu of education considered.
- 2 years of relevant experience.
Licenses and Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- No professional certification required
Required Skills and Abilities
- Skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks under limited supervision and guidance.
- Ability to independently organize a variety of work tasks to meet established objectives, using discretion in performing duties.
- Knowledge of fundamental principles, concepts, and techniques required for the support of environmental projects/programs, including technical analysis, environmental regulations, budgetary functions, and matrix management systems.
- MS Office including but not limited to Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Word

Essential Physical Requirements
Medium: Work involves moving objects by exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, or an above-negligible amount and up to 10 pounds constantly. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for light work.
