What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Programmer/Operator position at RSI?
We are a local metal fabricator serving the Puget Sound Area since 1993.
This position is responsible for programming and operating functions, including managing processes and materials, producing quality parts, in a safe and efficient manner. Previous experience with CNC table routing is required. Knowledge of multi-cam, alpha-cam, and punch press a plus. Must be able to communicate effectively and be motivated to work in a fast-paced environment with a great team and receive a competitive salary and benefits package, per the Architectural Glazing Union.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to work overtime when required.
- Be knowledgeable of software and equipment.
- Be a quick learner.
- Be well versed in CNC terminology and concepts (speeds & feeds, etc.).
- Able to use shop tools and operate a forklift.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 Years CAD/CAM Experience
- Must be a self-starter, and able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Must have a positive attitude, and be able to effectively work in a team.
- Sheet metal and glazing fabrication experience a plus.
- Must be able to safely operate a variety of material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be reliable and drug free.

- CNC Euromatic Punch Press
- CNC Linear Elumatec Mill

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
