Sales Director Responsibilities -
Develop an organized marketing and sales approach to effectively move prospects through the sales process to achieve budgeted occupancy targets.Responsible for maintaining budgeted occupancy by both generating the number of qualified inquiries, referrals, personal community tours and then effectively closing the sale.Utilizing The Ridge Senior Living sales methods, achieve targeted closing ratios through effective information gathering and presenting valid value-based options that “make sense” to the client.Receive and / or respond to all incoming calls for inquiries. Follow-up with the inquiries via effective telephone calls, cards / letters, mailing of marketing information and other means in an effort to meet budgeted occupancy. Enter all available information timely and thoroughly in the marketing database.Effectively tour prospective residents and / or family members to highlight the community and match community offerings to prospective resident needs / wants in an effort to meet budgeted occupancy goals.Attend external community events to build and strengthen referral partner relationships, supporting growth and opportunities for the community.Maintain a network of professional contacts, nurture referral sources for potential residents, and represent the community’s values, services, and pricing.Personally monitor the condition of all model rooms and respite rooms daily. Ensure that all rooms are ready for tour activity. In conjunction with Senior Director of Sales and Marketing, furnish, decorate and appoint model and respite rooms.Personally conduct an on-site morning walk-through of community to ensure readiness for community tours. Ensure all common areas needing attention are addressed at the beginning of each day, prior to any tour activity.Complete required reports as requested by the Senior Director of Sales & Marketing.Meet with the Senior Director of Sales and Marketing daily to report on census, admissions, discharges, transfers, deposits, inquiries, and tours. Maintain model room, respite room and rent-ready room availability list.As requested, attend appropriate networking functions in the area.Ensure the marketing database is up-to-date and accurate at all times. Complete input of all required information (leads and activity) timely and accurately.Assist with the processing of all required information necessary to complete a successful move-in, as requested.As requested, work with the Senior Director of Sales & Marketing to establish a creative marketing and advertising plan for the community, seek advertising resources, and coordinate public relations efforts.As requested, complete a Competitive Market Analysis.Perform day-to-day clerical work connected with the position.Ensure knowledge remains current regarding aging, assisted living and dementia-specific care through continuing education.Assist with the setting-up and tearing down of special events.Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.Support a positive and professional image through actions and dress.Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents and guests, following established safety standards.Perform other duties consistent with position as assigned by the Executive Director.Sales Director Qualifications
Dedication to and passion to serve seniors and team members with excellent customer service skills, a high level of energy and compassion.Prefer Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing or related field.Prefer two years' experience in senior living, long-term care or healthcare field.Strong time management skills and customer service skillsBe proficient in use of a computer.Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both verbally and written in dealing with team members, residents, family members, co-workers and vendors.Good listening and skills.About The Ridge Senior Living
