Art Director – RSM
As an Art Director at RSM, you will take on more of a leadership role in concept development, design execution, and brand storytelling across experiential, retail, and digital campaigns. You will be responsible for driving creative excellence, guiding projects from ideation to execution, and mentoring junior creatives. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate client objectives into visually stunning, brand-forward creative solutions. You will work closely with account teams, production teams, and external partners to develop high-impact creative work that elevates RSM’s portfolio and drives results.
Responsibilities:
- Lead creative concept development, ensuring all work aligns with RSM’s standards and client brand strategies.
- Develop and execute visually compelling concepts that elevate campaigns across digital, print, and experiential platforms.
- Expand upon initial creative direction, demonstrating strong conceptual thinking and design leadership.
- Oversee and refine 3D renderings, and/or digital assets to create immersive and engaging visuals.
- Guide and mentor Junior Art Directors and designers, providing constructive feedback to enhance the team’s creative output.
- Collaborate with account teams to ensure creative solutions meet program objectives.
- Ensure creative consistency across multiple touchpoints while remaining adaptable to diverse brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Work with external production teams, vendors, and printers to execute flawless deliverables.
- Present creative concepts and strategies to clients and account teams.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging design trends, AI-assisted creativity, and software innovations to continuously evolve and improve creative output.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in an agency or in-house creative team, with a strong portfolio showcasing conceptual and strategic design execution.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), with experience in 3D rendering, web or interactive design tools (Adobe Substance, Webflow, After Effects).
- Strong conceptual and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop innovative and brand-forward creative solutions.
- Experience leading projects from concept to final execution, including production oversight and vendor coordination.
- Ability to communicate effectively, present ideas confidently, and defend creative decisions.
- Strong leadership and mentorship abilities, with experience managing junior designers.
- High attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering best-in-class creative work under tight deadlines.
