Applicants will be required to coordinate time at to the facility during off hours for emergencies such as a leak, repairs needed, or to conduct fire drills during overnight shift.
Job Summary
The Maintenance Director is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations within the facility, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning efficiently and safely. This role requires strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and project management capabilities to maintain high standards of performance. The Maintenance Director will manage a team of maintenance personnel, coordinate maintenance schedules, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The maintenance director will follow a preventative maintenence (PM) schedule and complete work orders timely.
Duties
- Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure effective operations and timely completion of tasks.
- Develop and implement maintenance management strategies to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and other mechanical equipment to identify issues.
- Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical problems and analyze schematics for repairs.
- Plan and oversee maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance work without disrupting operations.
- Train staff on best practices for equipment maintenance and safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in a maintenance management role or similar position.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical systems, and general maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with project management principles and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in English with excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as schematics and manuals.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,600.00 - $47,840.00 per year
