About the Role:
RSVP, Inc. is seeking two experienced Case Managers to join our Family Outreach Program (FOP) team in the Shenandoah Valley. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about helping families overcome barriers and achieve stability through structured case management. The FOP Case Manager will work directly with TANF recipients, providing comprehensive assessments, goal-setting, service planning, and ongoing support to ensure clients access necessary resources and develop life and employment skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive client assessments to determine needs related to housing, mental health, substance use, employment, and financial stability.
- Develop and implement individualized service plans, guiding clients toward self-sufficiency.
- Provide direct case management support, ensuring clients receive necessary referrals for medical, behavioral health, and community-based services.
- Collaborate with DSS staff, mental health professionals, employers, and other community partners to coordinate resources.
- Maintain timely and accurate case documentation in compliance with DSS and RSVP standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and staff meetings to ensure best practices in case management.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree (required) in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Rehabilitation, Education, or a related field.
- Two years of experience in case management, rehabilitation, behavioral health, or human services.
- Strong understanding of TANF, social services, and employment support programs.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
- Proficiency in documentation and case note writing.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Virginia driver’s license.
- Ability to adapt quickly to client needs and crisis situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (preferred but not required).
- Experience working directly with TANF clients or DSS programs.
- Knowledge of substance use, mental health, and vocational rehabilitation resources.
Work Schedule & Location:
- Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift
- In-person position serving clients throughout the Shenandoah Valley region
