What We’re Looking For
You are someone who:
- Will hold themselves and others accountable while being emotionally intelligent and humble.
- Will passionately care about fleet professionals and the jobs they do. Our core clients are government fleet managers, fleet maintenance technicians, parts clerks, and support staff. They manage and maintain complex and diverse fleets. From police patrol vehicles to school buses, their work ensures reliability and safety – helping everyone get home safely at the end of the day.
- Will confidently own the partnership management role, while seeking collaboration and buy in from the rest of the sales team.
- Fully embraces team health and eliminating the “5 dysfunctions of a team” (Patrick Lencioni).
- Can pivot quickly when needed and maintain a positive attitude.
- Is willing to lift boxes, clean floors, and hold doors if that’s what it takes to get something done.
- Loves to read, learn, grow, and stretch themselves. Extra points if you’ve read Gap Selling, The Challenger Sale, or Never Split the Difference.
- Thinks of themselves less, while not thinking less of themselves.
- Constantly looks for more: more to learn, more to do, and more opportunities.
- Has experience networking, working externally across organizations, building processes for managing, billing, support, and facilitating scalable partnerships of all types.
Detailed Duties Include
- Find partner opportunities using inbound and outbound channels to identify, contact, and qualify potential new partnerships.
- Schedule and eventually do product demonstrations between product, potential partners, and potential customers.
- Strategize with sales team and other RTA team leaders to identify highly qualified sales prospects within our partner network.
- Leverage social selling and account-based marketing techniques to find new partners.
- Use Hubspot, Zoominfo, Gong and other tools provided to generate and manage a pipeline of partner leads.
- Negotiate contracts for prospective partnerships to ensure there is a win-win-win outcome.
- Build processes for onboarding partners, billing partners, and ensuring that partner value is measured and tracked.
- (Ultimately) Make it easy for our ideal customer profile to buy from us and extract value from RTA through a network of partners that they may already use.
- # of deals and pipeline value from the channel.
- # of new logos and revenue from the channel.
- # of partners activated (meaning actively engaged, referring us leads, co-marketing, co-selling, white-label selling, etc).
- Growth in logos that partner with RTA.
- Three (3) years of experience in partner development, ideally in the SaaS industry. Triple-Yahtzee for Fleet experience.
- Four (4) year college degree (preferred but not required).
- Hybrid-work environment. Willingness to drive to Glendale Arizona 3-days a week, minimum.
- Legally authorized to work in the US.
- Any offer contingent upon passing a background check.
