Position : Junior Application Security Engineer
Duration : 6 Months Contract
Location : Onsite to Wayzata, MN
Pay Range : $30-$35 / hr on W2 (As per experience)
Shift : Monday through Friday 7 : 00-4 : 00 PM CST
Summary :
The client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Application Security Engineer to join their global application security team. In this entry-level role, you will primarily focus on onboarding security tooling, maintaining documentation, and supporting developers in integrating security into the development process. You'll also help partner and manage security exceptions within our SDLC. This role will also focus on other application security-related activities that support our strategy and deliverables.
Responsibilities :
- Onboarding Security Tooling (Checkmarx, SysDig, WiZ, GitGuardian)
- Manage Security Exceptions with SDLC
- Writing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Documentation
- Support Developers and Engineers
- Continuous Improvement
