Job Title : Social Media Content Manager

Training Schedule : M - F 9am - 5pm CST (5-6 weeks)

Work Schedule : Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat, and Sun - 9am - 5pm CST

W2 Contract Duration : 6 - Months

Location : Remote

Pay Range : $32 – 39 / hour, DOE

About the Role

Our mission is to ensure our clients users have a seamless customer care experience while protecting their reputation. To achieve this, we are establishing a new Social Brand Reputation Team under Global Community Operations within the Social Media Operations Response Team (SORT) . This team will collaborate closely with Global Marketing and Crisis Communications .

This role will focus on social media engagement and brand protection through two primary objectives :

  • Providing white-glove attention to viral and influencer posts on social media, working closely with cross-functional customer-care teams.
  • Partnering with Communications and Marketing teams to serve as the frontline for emerging issues on social media.

We are seeking a passionate professional with expertise in customer care, influencer management, and crisis communications . You should be adept at handling individual customer concerns , engaging with influencers and celebrities , and managing sensitive brand issues .

This is a global role requiring collaboration with stakeholders in the US, United Kingdom & Ireland, India, and Australia . The ideal candidate is a proactive and quick thinker who can identify potential risks before they escalate while continuously improving efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor social media for viral and influencer posts, responding to brand-related concerns via Sprinklr and native platforms.
  • Understand the customer care policies and apply them effectively in social interactions.
  • Liaise with Marketing and Communications teams to craft appropriate responses for influencers and viral content.
  • Elevate customer care through a Marketing / Comms lens.
  • Engage with senior global leadership to manage key stakeholder conversations.
  • Handle brand crises on social media , including social listening, reporting, responding, crafting posts, and collaborating with policy teams.
  • Work across international teams to ensure alignment with varied policies.
  • Train and onboard new team members in processes and best practices.
  • Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in social media community management or a related field.
  • Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • 4 years managing social media for a large brand with diverse issues.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to ambiguity and thrive in a flexible work environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Social Media, or Public Relations (preferred).
  • Social listening expertise , with proficiency in Sprinklr & Brandwatch .
  • Strong intuition for viral trends and potential brand crises.
  • Stakeholder management experience with cross-functional teams.
  • Background in influencer management and crisis management for brands.
  • Prior experience in customer care operations .
  • Exceptional communication skills , including creative copywriting.
  • Empathy-driven customer focus with business acumen.
  • Problem-solving mindset , capable of addressing complex issues independently.
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments while maintaining a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and maintain clear communication.
  • Clear understanding of engagement elements across social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube).
  • Ability to de-escalate and shift negative engagements into positive outcomes for users.
