Employment Type: Contract/Remote
Pay rate: $20-$24/hr, DOE
Responsibilities:
- Strong typing skills that meet or exceed 5500 – 8000 keystrokes per hour
- Strong work ethic and communication skills, able to work well with team and individually
- Organizational skills and initiative to meet department service goals and turnaround times.
- Ability to work well under stressful circumstances processing large volumes of work to meet or exceed strict service guarantees
- Functional knowledge of underwriting processes helpful
- Creative thinking skills to recommend improved process enhancements
- Group Underwriting system knowledge including QUEST, Vista, Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat. Various vendor websites
Requirements:
- Strong listening and analytical skills to resolve issues presented by internal associates.
- Ability to "think on your feet" when dealing with underwriting service tasks.
- Excellent Excel spreadsheet skills.
- Ability to work well with significant volume fluctuations and aggressive service standards.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere with other associates to ensure processes are completed daily. As well as, working independently and meeting your daily goals.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Life Underwriting products for Group and Individual.
- Knowledge of Quest and Vista underwriting systems.
