This position supervises the receiving, sorting, counting and depositing of operating revenue, passes and 10-ride tickets and is responsible for reconciling daily and monthly revenue reports.
Duties & Responsibilities:


ESSENTIAL:
  • Recruits staff to include interviewing, hiring, assigning work, training, coaching, and counseling ensuring consistent application of Employee Guidelines, processes, and procedures. Conducts performance reviews, and holds employees accountable for optimal performance of their responsibilities.
  • Oversees the servicing of vending equipment and internal accounting control procedures and tracking.
  • Oversees the operation of money counting equipment, schedules and ensures proper maintenance and repair.
  • Counts, verifies and signs for Farebox revenue and supervises and verifies sorting, counting, and depositing of revenues. Completes audit trail documentation.
  • Monitors and enforces security policies and procedures, evaluates security measures and recommends security improvements.

  • All other job-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or related field.
  • A minimum of three years of supervisory experience in a union environment.
  • A minimum of three years of experience dealing with large volume revenue collection and/or counting.
  • Proficiency in Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures and Practices (GAAP).
  • Ability to create and maintain audit trail documentation.
  • Proficiency in security measures relating to sensitive or valuable items.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing and prioritizing with attention to detail.
  • Must take and pass a polygraph test prior to employment and agree to submit to random and for-cause polygraph testing while in the position.

  • An equivalent combination of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities.

Pay Range:
$77,437.00 - $109,380.25 Annual
