Project Overview
RTI International is conducting the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) to gather data on alcohol, tobacco, drug use, mental health, and other health-related issues in the United States.
Salary and Benefits
The pay rate for this part-time position is $21/hour based on experience and geographic location. In addition to hourly pay, a Health and Welfare stipend of $4.98 per hour will be provided for up to 40 hours per week.
You are also eligible to receive pay for up to 10 holidays and annual vacation time payout, as well as access to an employee discount program. Travel time and mileage is fully reimbursable.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit and interview study participants in their homes.
- Administer standardized questionnaires and collect confidential information.
- Manage administrative duties, including participating in conference calls and completing online trainings.
- Transmit data as scheduled.
- Ensure the safekeeping of project-issued equipment and participant incentives.
- Provide timely and accurate Time & Expense reports.
- Attend virtually scheduled meetings with the project team.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old at time of employment.
- Must possess High School Diploma or GED.
- Possess effective communication skills through speech and listening.
- Fluency in English through reading, writing, and speaking.
- Available for entire training and data collection period.
- Able to successfully complete training.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal automobile available for business use.
- Comfortable using RTI-issued tablet, laptop, and other associated equipment.
- Access to password-protected WiFi connection for data transmission and administrative responsibilities.
- Able to keep project information confidential.
- Willingness to work in various types of weather conditions and after dark.
