What are the responsibilities and job description for the Color/Stabilizer Production Support 3rd Shift position at RTP COMPANY?
This position is responsible for accurate weighing and measuring of raw material colorants, stabilizers, and other product ingredients according to process documentation. It also assists in staging materials for production, calibrating scales, RF scanning materials to the proper warehouse locations, completing necessary paperwork, ensuring raw material inventory is accurate, and safely performs all tasks and activities of the job.
Work Schedule: Production 3rd Shift: 9:45 PM to 6:00 AM, Sunday night through Friday morning.
Responsibilities
- Performs all tasks in a safe manner, including wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE), and completes all safety training as required.
- Properly weighs pigment raw materials according to customer provided formulas on process documents.
- Moves and records material movements and scans used materials to proper warehouse locations.
- Completes required paperwork.
- Ensures good housekeeping in work areas and proper set up for following shift.
- Verifies daily calibration of all scales used in the Color Room.
- Hooks up stabilizer and ensures sourcing is to the correct production bins.
- Delivers stabilizer and raw materials to the 38 ft. floor level in a timely manner.
- Fills appropriate production bins with stabilizer and raw materials.
- Understands and fills out stabilizer tags.
- Other duties/responsibilities as assigned, or apparent.
