What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Inspector - 3rd Shift position at RTP COMPANY?
The Quality Assurance Technician/Inspector is responsible for performing the required testing and inspection of injection molded specimens and pellet samples for production, sample, experimental and raw material product types.
Work Schedule: 3rd Shift 7:00 PM - 5:00 AM Monday Night - Friday Morning (10-hour shifts, 4 days a week)
Responsibilities
- Perform required testing of RTP plastics: Typical testing includes a variety of mechanical properties along with conductivity, flame retardant, ash, moisture, flow, and contamination inspections
- Perform injection molding on test specimens, panels, and pucks
- Maintain accurate records of all testing performed
- Collaborate with QA Manager and to continually work towards the highest quality products
- Participate in training, retraining, and continual improvement processes and methods
- Maintain departmental housekeeping standards
- Other duties as assigned
