Job Summary
The Onboarding Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Human Resources Department with the onboarding and training of all new hires.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process to ensure a great experience for new employees and a smooth start in their roles.
- Prepare and distribute onboarding welcome firm swag.
- Communicate onboarding instructions to new hires, prior to starting date.
- Lead new hire orientations.
- Audit data and set up employee profiles in internal HR systems.
- Assist with coordination, preparation, and distribution of employee documentation.
- Serve as a point of contact for hiring managers and newly hired employees.
- Assist with in-house continued education seminars.
- Identify innovative and creative new ways to onboard new employees/reach a more scalable and measurable onboarding experience.
- Work closely with Orientation Coordinator in all other administrative office tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
- Administrative or HR experience preferred.
- Strong Time Management Skills.
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
- Computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn new applications.
- Able to handle multiple assignments and assess and analyze data.
- Attention to detail.
- Must be able to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
- Able to identify critical areas to prioritize onboarding needs.
- Function as a team player, work well under pressure and be a forward thinker.
