Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Process Engineer at Rubicon LLC in Geismar, LA. The Process Engineer will be responsible for process design, process control, analytical skills, process engineering, and chemical engineering tasks on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot problems with chemical manufacturing processes in their assigned areas.
Support unit turnarounds and commission process improvements.
Evaluate process equipment and processes to identify ways to optimize performance and assure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Monitor performance of processes throughout reaction and purification steps to determine interaction of process variables such as temperature, pressure, residence time, composition.
Design replacement equipment and plan layout of new equipment.
Design monitoring and control systems improvements based on data trending and analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years experience required
