The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will work closely with the Organizational Impact(OI) Director to plan and implement systems and procedures that support multiple programs to achieve Rubicon’s mission. The QA Manager will be a skilled and knowledgeable resource for other team members performing various QA responsibilities and will take on a variety of leadership roles on the OI team. The QA Manager may supervise non-exempt OI staff, and thereby be responsible for the staff’s performance and professional development.  Also, the QA Manager may work closely with program directors, managers, staff and partners to document and ensure compliance with internal and external procedures and program requirements.  This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the OI Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Data Collection & Training: Develop, maintain and update data collection procedures and documentation requirements checklists; lead the implementation of internal and external database applications; develop and conduct user training in data collection procedures and documentation requirements; enforce the integrity and timeliness of required data entry. Establish electronic record-keeping protocols.
  • Data Quality Control: Maintain and update data quality standards for required data entry and documentation across multiple programs; establish quality control protocols to support program managers, staff, partners and system administrators to identify, resolve and correct errors.
  • Performance Monitoring and Contract Reporting: Develop reports and analyses of program data for internal and external performance monitoring; prepare contract reports for internal review and submission; ensure the integrity and timeliness of required reporting. Develop and train managers and staff in the use of dashboards to monitor their own performance. Ensure that electronic files pass external monitoring and audit requirements and lead preparation for monitoring visits.
  • Personnel Management: Comprehensive supervision and professional development responsibility for Organizational Impact support staff; including effective team development through hiring and goal setting, and successful skill building through both coaching and performance management.
  • Effective Communications: Convey complex and important information to a variety of audiences, verbally and in writing.

COMPETENCIES

  • At least 3 years experience working in QA or program evaluation in social service or a related field
  • Experience utilizing human services data collection systems, writing procedures, and providing end-user training and support; and a basic understanding of database principles
  • Experience utilizing principles of Trauma Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, Cultural Responsiveness, and Coaching in daily practice
  • Adept leadership, managerial, supervisory, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to build professional relationships
  • Effective verbal and written communication of complex ideas to diverse audiences
  • Effective spreadsheet analysis skills
  • Ability to productively collaborate with other Rubicon teams, government agencies and partner organizations

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • $70,000 - $75,000 annually
