What are the responsibilities and job description for the Global Immigration and Mobility Specialist position at Rubrik Job Board?
As the Global Immigration and Mobility Specialist, you will be responsible for managing global immigration and mobility programs and policies. You will play a critical role in aligning immigration and mobility strategies with overall business objectives and overseeing the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of these processes. Your key focus area will be on scaling the immigration and relocation programs, with an emphasis on best in class employee experience and operational efficiency. A portion of your time will also be spent on general People Services responsibilities.
Immigration and Mobility: (75% of time)
Strategic and Program Management responsibilities;
- Assess current state of immigration and mobility programs to optimize process and scale for Rubrik’s future growth plans and align with industry standard best practices.
- Create and manage monthly metrics, analyze for data insights and apply HR concepts and principles to assist with strategic program decisions and improve employee experience.
- Bring ownership of all immigration activities into one desk and have Immigration@ be the global single point of contact for immigration matters.
- Evaluate and streamline the current travel visa program
- Partner with immigration counsel to understand current events, dynamic changes impacting global mobility, provide relevant updates to leadership, and make recommendations for possible program modifications as needed.
- Understand business objectives and align immigration and mobility strategy accordingly
Day to day responsibilities will include but are not limited;
- Triage and respond to inquiries from employees, managers and team stakeholders.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on Rubrik’s immigration and mobility programs, to understand processes, provide direction to employees, managers, and stakeholders, and effectively engage immigration counsel.
- Ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations in collaboration with immigration counsel.
- Always look to direct inquiries to a self service solution whenever possible and note knowledge base gaps for future improvements.
- Update and build out a knowledge base for internal People Team process documents and Employee facing process and policies.
- Use independent judgment and discretion to interpret risk profiles surrounding cases
- Partner and manage relationships with vendors.
Triaging and Case Management (HR@): (25% of time)
- Triage and respond to HR@ inquiries from employees, managers and team stakeholders
- Direct inquiries to a self service solution whenever possible and note knowledge base gaps for future improvements.
- Back-up support for onboarding, offboarding and People Services responsibilities as needed.
- Ad-hoc projects based on business needs.
Requirements:
- Available to work core US business hours
- Must work in the Palo Alto Office 3 days a week (Monday and Wednesday 1 additional flex day in office)
- 4-6 years Immigration Program Management experience in a People organization
- Experience with Workday and Greenhouse ATS is preferred
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
- Ability to connect and effectively communicate with people of all levels
- Organized, proactive, and maintains a positive, team-focused attitude
- Gmail, Advanced Powerpoint/Google Slides, Excel/Google Sheets and Word/Google Docs experience

Salary : $114,800 - $172,200
