HR Manager Ruckus Recreational - Capitol Hill Location
Ruckus Recreational is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Manager to join our Capitol Hill team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating a positive work environment while ensuring smooth daily operations and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Position Overview
As HR Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of human resources management and office administration at our Capitol Hill location. This role combines traditional HR duties with operational support to ensure our team members have everything they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Management
- Lead recruitment process including posting jobs, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions
- Implement comprehensive onboarding programs for new employees
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure all required documentation is properly filed
- Monitor and manage staff scheduling to ensure optimal coverage
- Oversee time tracking and attendance management
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations
- Handle employee relations matters professionally and confidentially
Administrative Duties
- Manage internal staff communications and announcements
- Coordinate supply ordering and inventory management
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment
- Manage online menu to ensure accuracy
- Support general administrative needs as they arise
- Occasionally provide break coverage or full shift coverage when needed
Qualifications
Required
- 2 years of HR or office admin experience, preferably in a retail or customer service environment
- Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Superior communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience with scheduling software and employee management systems
- Previous experience in a retail management role
- $26 per hour
