RUDIS is currently seeking a Manager of Event Operations to elevate the overall planning, operations, and execution of the business unit. The Manager of Event Operations is responsible for financial, cultural and brand success of all personnel, products, and operational needs within the event revenue stream. Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Director of Events, hire, train, and oversee a team of Field Event Sales Representatives providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure a smooth execution of events
- Responsible for all inventory, infrastructure, and personnel spend
- Formalize and create standard for training and routine operations
- Takes ownership and can consistently speak to current state of events operation
- Conducts post-event evaluations to measure success and identify areas for improvement
- Development of general event management policies
- Stay ahead of industry trends, incorporating innovative ideas to enhance event experiences and revenue opportunities
- Ensuring brand standards are upheld by event staff and company policies are followed
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Business or related field preferred
- 5 years experience in Events, or Event Logistics and Operations
- Track record of successfully managing teams and owning P&Ls
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required by the demands of the event
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire teams to deliver results
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proven, successful experience working in a fast paced, high pressurized environment on multiple deliverable-driven projects from concept to completion
