Rudolph Friedmann LLP is seeking a litigation paralegal to assist attorneys in our office with the administration and litigation of matters.
The ideal candidate possesses a four-year undergraduate degree and at least 2-4 years of civil litigation experience. This position will require strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills, the ability to write and communicate effectively, and professionalism.

Rudolph Friedmann LLP handles a wide array of commercial litigation cases. Our litigators represent clients at jury and non-jury trials, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative proceedings. Duties/Responsibilities
- Monitor case filings and update internal records;
- Review, evaluate, and summarize discovery documents;
- Initial drafting of discovery requests/responses and other pleadings;
- Assemble and file motion packages with the court in state and federal court;
- Perform cite-checking and proof reading of briefs and other legal materials;
- Conduct research on Westlaw regarding legal issues;
- Manage the document production processes of both physical and electronic documentation;
- Prepare binders of key documents during litigation phases, including depositions, mediation, arbitration, and trial;
- Draft deposition summaries of witnesses;
- Conduct intakes on matters for potential clients;
- Track and record client-billable time; and
- Administratively manage and assist all phases of a litigation case including litigation motion practice, discovery, trial, and appellate procedures.
Required Skills/Abilities
- 2-4 years of civil litigation experience
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Capable of handling multiple tasks at once
- Preference to candidates with experience using systems such as Westlaw, PACER, Massachusetts e-filing system, TABS and iManage.
