IT Intern - Waukesha (On-Site)
Are you looking to gain hands-on IT experience in a professional setting? Join our IT team as an IT Intern and support daily operations while developing your technical skills. We are seeking a motivated student currently enrolled in an IT, Computer Science, or related degree program who is eager to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world environment.
As an IT Intern, you will provide first-level technical support, assist in hardware and software installations, troubleshoot computer and system issues, and support IT projects and system updates. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your problem-solving skills and gain experience in security, backup procedures, and IT infrastructure.
What You’ll Gain:

Goals & Responsibilities:
This position includes, but is not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:
· Provide first-level technical support to staff.
· Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software.
· Troubleshoot system and computer issues.
· Support IT projects, documentation, and system updates.
· Assist in implementing security and backup procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following education, experience, and abilities:
· Enrollment in an IT, Computer Science, or related degree program.
· Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking.
· Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Familiarity with Windows operating system.
· Experience with troubleshooting and technical support.
· Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
· Basic knowledge of network infrastructure.
Internship Details:
· Position: Full or Part-Time Internship (Full-Time Preferred)
· Duration: 3 months full-time, with an optional part-time extension during the school year.
· Location: Waukesha (On-Site)
