JOB FUNCTION:
A Hybrid role that combines technical support and basic marketing tasks. This position is responsible for maintaining the organization’s technology infrastructure while also developing skills to lead marketing efforts to promote brand visibility and business growth.
To maintain and support all computer and IT systems at Rueter’s, including handling various technology-related tasks and providing support to employees across locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Information Technology:
- Perform day-to-day IT Support, including troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
- Monitor and troubleshoot networking and telephone systems across Rueter’s.
- Monitor and maintain network security using software and hardware tools.
- Maintain and troubleshoot office printers and peripheral devices.
- Perform regular and on-demand system backups and recoveries.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging server tools and technologies.
- Maintain and assign all Rueter’s computers, laptops, cell phones, and other technologies.
- Handle and support employee access to dealer portals and act as the admin user on dealer software platforms.
- Prepare and manage employee onboarding tasks, including business card creation, computer setup, email account configuration, and general equipment allocation.
- Purchase company electronic supplies and manage inventory of tech-related resources.
Marketing:
- Do basic graphic design and content formatting for websites, social media, apparel and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with department teams to develop and support marketing campaigns and event planning
- Assist with website maintenance, updates, and general improvements.
- Design and apply company vehicle decals and assist with branding requirements.
- Perform various other marketing and technology-related tasks assigned by the owner related to Rueter’s and related companies.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and a strong desire to provide excellent customer service.
- Working knowledge of computer networking, mobile devices, mobile technology, and dealer software platforms.
- Experience in handling employee onboarding processes and setting up new employees with necessary technology and resources.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel to various locations.
- Strong knowledge of website maintenance, printer management, and phone system troubleshooting.
- Attention to detail and the ability to solve technical issues efficiently.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff effectively.
