Founded in 1951, Rueters has been servicing the equipment needs for more than 70 years. We are a family-owned distributor of world class Agriculture and Construction equipment such as; Case IH, New Holland, Kubota, Hyundai, JCB, Ashland, and more.
We are a looking for an Outside Sales Rep to join our team based at our 60 acre 212,000 sq ft facility in Carroll, IA. Your mission is to drive profitable revenue that meets or exceeds company expectations by renting and selling new and used ag and construction equipment through building and maintaining strong customer relationships within an assigned territory. In this role, your focus will be diving into your assigned territory by using our CRM data base, your knowledge of the market, and passive marketing leads generated to identify, cultivate, and prioritize your daily, weekly, and monthly agendas to create success in your territory. You should be guided by our core values to provide exceptional customer service, gain trust in the market place, and win business.
Our store normal store hours are 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, M-F and 7:30 – noon, Saturday. Store seasonal hours will vary. But as an Outside Sales Rep, your customers may contact you outside of normal hours. We offer a competitive “base plus commission” compensation package as well as Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance and 401K. Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
· Strong desire to win
· Ability to achieve results while being self-lead
· 3 years’ success as an Inside or Outside Sales Rep in related industries
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
· Strong computer skills
· Ability to manage competing priorities
· Bachelor’s degree
Work Environment:
This job operates in both an office (20%) and field (80%) environment, including exposure to varied weather conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Travel:
Local day travel is routine. Occasional overnight travel is expected for this position.

Requirements
· High school diploma or GED
· Valid Driver’s License
· Previous outside sales experience (Preferred)
· Previous Ag and Construction sales experience (Preferred)
· Proficient computer use
