Description
The Data Integrity Analyst I works in a collaborative team environment to process data files from a variety of sources across multiple business lines and product offerings. This role focuses on input and output of files and works closely with the team, whose focus is on campaign set up and management.
This opportunity is seeking talent to work remote within Iowa or Illinois to allow for team collaboration, needed on-going training and professional development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: (not limited to)
- Manage data preparation, manipulation, cleansing, and segmentation through a variety of tools.
- Generate and review data output, reports, and analysis to ensure overall accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established standards.
- Reject or fix formatting and any data quality issues.
- Code integrity checks and data updates using SQL.
- Create reports using queries and logic across a variety of tools and/reporting services.
- Resolve data anomalies using problem solving, logic, and critical thinking to ensure complete and accurate data.
- Maintain institutional specific data processing instructions and documentation.
- Apply critical thinking and quality control in all data processes.
- Work with cross functional team member to resolve data issues.
Qualifications
PREFERRED:
- Willingness to work remote from a home office located in Iowa or Illinois (USA) with the ability to meet in person with the team when needed for training and professional development
REQUIRED:
- Associate technical degree or 2 years’ experience in a technical field (preferably college admissions, enrollment and/or financial aid positions focusing on data operations).
- 1 years’ experience with relational databases, SQL, ETL tools, data analysis and/or data processing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication English skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Ability to process remotely as deemed necessary by manager to meet critical deadlines.
- Ability to work overtime as deemed necessary by manager to meet critical deadlines.
- Travel requirement is negligible. There may be opportunities to meet regionally with colleagues for professional development / training.
- Ability to maintain and work in a remote home office, ideally in Iowa or Illinois.
- Remote/virtual work environment must be free from distractions while performing the essential functions of the job and have a reliable network connection
- Position predominantly includes sitting/standing for long periods of time, close vision through the use of a computer screen, extensive keyboarding, talking, hearing, and infrequent light physical effort is required (minimum of fifteen pounds)
