Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, operating out of 29 branches throughout the United States. We primarily sell lumber products for our customers to make beautiful things and build happiness.
Position: We are growing and seeking an Operations Coordinator you will be responsible for leading and directing warehouse and operations scheduling by maintaining product inventory, accuracy and timeliness of deliveries, product storage and warehouse housekeeping. You will coach and develop team members to ensure that the functions of the warehouse and delivery process continuously operate safely and efficiently.

Your Day-to-Day: to excel in this role, you will need to...
- Develop, monitor, and assess production schedules based on industry best practices for managerial standards.
- Organize production timelines and departmental activities considering the availability of materials, staff, and equipment.
- Oversee production processes, workflows, and schedules to ensure timely delivery.
- Allocate production resources efficiently to minimize costs while meeting deadlines.
- Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and optimize production operations.
- Ensure that necessary materials and equipment are prepared in advance for production.
- Partner with managers to identify and develop solutions for improving production efficiency.
- Coordinate with production and purchasing teams to maintain effective scheduling parameters.
- Manage inventory by ordering and stocking materials to prevent future shortages.
- Prepare and provide daily or weekly production reports to management to support critical decision-making.
- This role is a safety sensitive position, subject to routine drug screenings.
