What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift Receiving Office Coordinator position at Ruiz Food Product, Inc.?
DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments from our outside warehouses.
- Schedule delivery appointments and file paperwork.
- Answer all incoming calls and manage the incoming traffic to schedule appointments and trailer turnover on back hauls.
- Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming/outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of ladings, orders, or other records.
- Ensure Certificate of Analysis is available prior to truck arrival.
- Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
- File documents and keeps files updated.
- Conduct inventory counts and verifications.
- Place orders for internal receiving supplies.
- Assume Receiving Lead duties in their absence.
SKILLS:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2-years clerical experience required.
- Minimum of 2-years forklift required.
- Previous Leadership skills preferred.
- Experience with AS400/PRISM preferred.
- Ability to read and write English (bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus).
- Basic math skills required.
- Able to use ten-key by touch preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Organized, professional and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Able to communicate clearly with outside vendors and carriers.
SALARY: ENTRY LEVEL 6 (Non-exempt)
