RK&K, one of the nation's top consulting firms, is seeking a Facilities Construction Manager for our Program and Construction Management division working on Facilities and Maintenance projects in Pittsburgh area.
Essential Function
- Develop and manage construction schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Review and approve project plans, designs, and specifications.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
- Supervise all phases of construction, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance.
- Address and resolve any on-site issues or delays.
- Implement and monitor quality control processes.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with local codes, regulations, and environmental requirements.
- Develop and enforce safety protocols on-site.
- Lead and manage construction teams, including inspectors and site personnel.
- Oversee installation and commissioning of building systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
- Ensure that facilities are designed and built to accommodate the intended functions and operations.
