RUN Studios has a part-time / as-needed opportunity for a technically savvy, solution-oriented individual. We are seeking a driven Teleconference Operator to support our client, a leader in the streaming industry located in the Redmond area. This opportunity offers a chance to work around in and around some of the best equipment in the broadcast industry and the people that operate it.

Video calls have become an integral part of our connection to the world, and this role will be front and center in making those connections. Working with the larger production team you will welcome guests and help ensure they are production ready. You will also ensure proper settings are applied to the devices making those connections to ensure a smooth production.

The work will be on an as-needed basis, hours will fluctuate based on project needs.

As a Teleconference Operator, You Will

• Set up and test the Microsoft Teams app across multiple PC’s before production
• Facilitate the Microsoft Teams call and, in collaboration with producers, coach the talent on best practices, lighting and framing of cameras
• Monitor the call and communicate with talent and control room as needed
• Provide a high level of customer service and timely response to requests and projects
• Possess a proactive and effective system for troubleshooting, resolution or escalation of all systems and tools required for successful delivery of services

Qualifications

As an Applicant, You Bring

• Basic knowledge of Windows devices
• Ability to adapt to sudden changes
• Above average problem-solving capacity
• Knowledge of framing and composition
• Strong communication skills

Bonus if You Have

• Experience with Microsoft 365 applications, especially Microsoft Teams
• A video or virtual production background

Compensation

Pay Range: $25.00 - $40.00 (Hourly)

The successful candidate’s starting pay within this range will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.

Benefits and perks may vary depending on location and nature of the work, but eligible employees have access to medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D benefits, health savings and flexible spending accounts, other telehealth and wellness benefits, a minimum of seven paid holidays per year, accrual of at least 6.5 days (Temporary Employment) to at least 15 days (Regular Employment) of paid time off per year, a 401k plan with company match, discretionary bonuses dependent on company, team or individual performance, and referral bonuses for eligible hired referrals.
