Business System Analyst

Description

•  Provide operational support for internal applications, ensuring high availability and minimal disruptions.

•  Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

•  Gather requirements and analyze business processes for system improvements.

•  Translate business needs into functional specifications for SharePoint and similar systems.

•  Test and validate system enhancements to ensure they meet business requirements.

•  Analyze existing processes to identify opportunities for optimization and automation.

•  Propose solutions to streamline operations and document detailed business process models.

•  Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations and procedures.

•  Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions to enhance system utilization.

•  Act as a liaison between stakeholders, development teams, and IT professionals.

•  Assist in project planning, coordination, and tracking to ensure successful execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting applications like SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence
• Strong understanding of business processes and workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and IT enterprise process standards (e.g., ITIL, Lean, PCI, SOX).
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs individually or up to 50 kg in tandem.
• Sit, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods during working hours.
• Preference for bilingual proficiency in Chinese.
