We are seeking a skilled Cashier Assistant to join our team at Runnings. As a Cashier (Full-Time) in our retail store, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, answering questions, and resolving issues with professionalism and poise. This dynamic role offers opportunities for growth and development in a fast-paced retail environment.
To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent customer service skills, be able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently, and stand for long periods. Hours of operation vary with days, evenings (until 9pm), and a rotating weekend/holiday coverage required, so you must be available to work evenings and/or weekends.
You will report directly to the Store Manager and have no direct supervisory authority. Key responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with customer service questions, handling incoming telephone calls, and utilizing our KCX cash register system to handle customer transactions accurately.
