We are now looking for a passionate Production Support Coordinator!

Position Overview

In this position as Production Support Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and efficient flow of work of the production process by providing ongoing support to various production teams. This includes promoting safety, health and environment policy awareness, as well as maintaining Lean Manufacturing methodology, addressing issues, and ensuring the production quota is met with efficiency.

The Production Support Coordinator will also act as a liaison between different production areas and resolve production challenges in a timely manner.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have:

• Training experience across various production and manufacturing areas for production team members.
• Efficiently and accurately coordinated the availability of resources such as raw materials, job-appropriate tools, and other consumables.
• A strong foundation in drafting, updating and editing process procedures, standard work and 5S 1 activities as well as submitting procedures via the Engineering Change Order process.
• Keen analytical and problem-solving skills in a production-based, manufacturing environment.
• Experience maintaining a log of Andons called on the production floor, tracking and documenting through problem solving methodologies.
• A level of comfort leading a small team, as needed, in the finishing (JBR) area when the JBR Palletizing Process Operator is unavailable.
• High School graduate or equivalent training obtained through experience or an apprenticeship program in a trade occupation.
• 3-4 years of job-related experience in a production, industrial environment. A strong background in manufacturing process.
• Clear and concise communication abilities across different levels within our organization.
• A familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

It is seen as a plus if you have:

• A familiarity and exposure to Lean Manufacturing methodology and visual management.
• OSHA 10 Certification or other safety-related courses.
• Forklift Driver experience and certification.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

General Physical Requirements

• Standing for Long Periods – Requirement of standing for extended periods of time (8-10 hours per work shift).
• Lifting and Carrying – May need to lift, push, or carry heavy materials - up to 50 lbs.
• Repetitive Movements – Tasks may involve frequent bending, twisting, gripping, or reaching.
• Hand-Eye Coordination – Precision work may require good coordination and manual dexterity.
• Endurance and Stamina – Shifts can be physically demanding and require sustained effort.
• Use of Machinery – Some jobs require operating heavy machinery or power tools safely.
• Climbing or Crawling – Certain roles may require working in confined spaces, climbing ladders, or kneeling.
• Good Vision and Hearing – Clear sight and hearing are often necessary for safety and quality control.

Work Environment Considerations

• Exposure to Heat, Noise, or Chemicals – Fluctuating temperatures - hot and cold, loud machinery, or airborne particles.
• Protective Gear – Employees must wear safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, or hearing protection.
• Shift Work – Jobs may require extended shifts or overtime.
