About the Role - Ruppert Landscape is looking for an experienced Corporate Recruiter to manage and oversee our College Internship Program and lead professional recruiting efforts. This individual will be responsible for recruiting and screening candidates for both college internships (over 50 annually) and full-time professional roles across various departments. While this role will require some interaction with Hiring managers, the primary responsibility will be to perform initial screenings, then forward top candidates to Division managers for further evaluation. This is a dynamic position that requires a passion for talent acquisition, strong organizational skills, and the ability to travel to campuses for recruiting events. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that both our internship program and professional hiring efforts attract and retain top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
College Internship Program Oversight: Manage and coordinate the college internship program, placing over 50 interns annually in various departments across the company. Ensure smooth operations from recruitment to internship completion.
Travel for Recruitment: Travel to college campuses (primarily in October and November) for recruitment events, including career fairs and on-campus interviews.
Professional Recruiting: In addition to managing the internship program, conduct full-cycle recruiting for professional roles across the company. Source candidates, perform initial screenings, and forward qualified applicants to division managers for further evaluation.
Applicant Sourcing and Screening: Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like Jobvite and LinkedIn Recruiter to source, filter, and screen applicants for both internships and full-time positions.
Initial Candidate Screening: Conduct thorough screenings of candidates to assess their qualifications, skills, and cultural fit for Ruppert Landscape. Present top candidates to division managers for the next steps in the hiring process.
Program Reporting and Metrics: Track key performance metrics for the internship program and professional recruiting efforts, providing regular updates to management on progress and outcomes.
Ongoing Candidate Engagement: Maintain communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive experience and to answer any questions they may have.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
3 years of recruiting experience, including both internship and professional hiring.
Experience with recruiting platforms and ATS systems, such as Jobvite and LinkedIn Recruiter.
Strong ability to conduct initial candidate screenings and assess both technical skills and cultural fit.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor when engaging with candidates and division managers.
Willingness and ability to travel to college campuses for recruitment activities (primarily in November and December).
Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with company goals and processes.
Required Skills
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Talent Sourcing and Recruiting
Familiarity with hands-on sourcing techniques (LinkedIn, really) with creating sourcing strategies and marketing campaigns
Strong oral and communication skills
Effective Time Management abilities
Familiarity with ATS and Candidate Management Systems
Experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
Demonstrated excellence in identifying top talent to align with business needs
Proven abilities in fostering and managing relationships with shareholders and management teams
Pay range and compensation package - $60,000 - $90,000 plus year end bonus and other benefits
