Position: Canvasser Description
Temporary Canvasser – Payson, AZ
Position Type: Temporary (1-2 weeks)
Hourly Rate: $23/hour
Hours: Up to 40 hours per week
We’re hiring temporary canvassers in Payson to assist parents of young children in completing a survey about childcare availability and costs. This is an opportunity to support your community by gathering valuable input to improve childcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
Approach and engage parents of young children to explain and facilitate survey completion.
Accurately record responses and provide guidance as needed.
Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while representing the organization.
Ensure data collection meets established quality and confidentiality standards.

Nice to Haves:
- Previous experience with political campaigns and/or as a canvasser
- Basic data entry and analytic reporting experience
- Knowledge of political issues, policies, and the Organization’s values
- Basic technology proficiency for data entry and using Organization software or apps (i.e. Paychex, Expense Wire)
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
