Off-Site Facilities Maintenance Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Rural Communities Housing Development Corporation. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and repairs of buildings and grounds to create a safe and healthy living environment.
• Daily, weekly, and quarterly routine inspections and replacements according to the established maintenance schedule.
• Accurate recording of all required tasks on the maintenance schedule and provision of this information to the Project Manager on a monthly basis.
• Ordering of maintenance supplies and inventory management.
• Preparation of units for occupancy by performing various tasks such as cleaning, disinfecting, painting, patching, and replacement of windows, doors, door locks, and lights.
• Maintenance of walkways and parking areas to ensure they remain free of debris.
• Oversight of lawn and garden area maintenance and sprinkler system upkeep as instructed.
• Reporting of health and safety hazards, injuries, and accidents to the proper authorities and to the Property Manager and Maintenance Manager.
• Execution of rehabilitation plans and maintenance of property according to health and safety standards.
• Maintenance of work order logs and repair/reports filing systems.

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
