Overview
Rural Resources Community Action seeks a passionate and driven Senior Accountant to join our team and contribute to our mission of helping community members across Eastern Washington! This is a full-time, salaried position based in our Colville office with the possibility of a hybrid work model that offers flexibility and work-life balance.
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our financial success at Rural Resources. You’ll prepare and analyze financial reports, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and keep our accounting operations running smoothly. This position is instrumental in supporting cash flow management, audits, tax preparation, and risk management—all while maintaining the highest standards of accounting practices and controls.
Education & Experience
Any combination of education and experience that would provide the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge, and ability required to perform the job. Nonprofit accounting experience is preferred.
Salary & Benefits
Our Senior Accountant position is offered at $7,018 to $7,445 per month ($84,219 to $89,336 annually). Actual wage will vary depending on factors, including but not limited to experience and qualifications. Employees who successfully meet or exceed performance expectations during their annual performance evaluation will be eligible for a 3% wage increase. The full salary range for this position is $6,615 to $10,933 per month and represents the low and high end of the total salary range for this position.
