What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Phlebotomist position at RUSH Health?
Has oversight of staff who process specimens, perform waived testing and phlebotomy, and processes Microbiology specimens. Maintains phlebotomy and waived testing skills as a support function to the patient care areas. Processes, responds and troubleshoots all inquiries for patient results and information with complete follow-up. Ensures that billing processes are timely, accurate and correct. Ensures coverage for scheduling of the Laboratory Control Center. MLT(ASCP), LCT or equivalent Laboratory experience required. 3-4 years Phlebotomy experience required. Must be able to communicate well with patients, physicians and staff.
$21.00 - $31.50 Hourly
