Bartender

Rusk Kitchen Bar is seeking timely, responsible, and team-oriented individuals to join our growing family as a Bartender! Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency, creativity, and flair, adhering to standard recipes or catering to customer preferences.
• Provide warm, friendly, and attentive service, engaging with guests to ensure their satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar and service area, including washing glassware and tools, and restocking as necessary.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, notifying management of shortages, and assisting with orders when needed.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food and beverage handling.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently using the Toast POS system.
• Support private events and catering services, ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees.
• Contribute to the development of seasonal and innovative drink offerings, keeping our menu exciting and fresh.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Timeliness and accountability are a must—you’re always where you need to be, ready to work, and contribute to the team.
• Experience in bartending and/or serving in a casual dining environment.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere.
• Knowledge of or experience with Toast POS systems is preferred.
• Willingness to work as part of a team, appreciating and valuing the collective effort.
• Adaptability and the ability to handle fast-paced, high-volume environments without sacrificing quality.
• A growth mindset and a desire to evolve with the team and restaurant.
• Experience with catering or event bartending is a plus.
