Summary
The Russ Darrow group is looking for an individual with an exceptional insight in the automotive market. This position is responsible for purchasing vehicles from service customers, using market data and our inventory system to determine pricing. You'll work with management on appraisals and acquisitions, aiming to meet income targets while providing regular progress updates.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interface/Contact current service customers to purchase their current vehicles.
- Utilize The Russ Darrow inventory management system to establish a purchase price using approved metrics
- Understand market trends and changes to trends in geographic market
- Provide guidance and support to dealership Management Staff as it relates to purchasing used vehicles.
- Assist dealership management in appraising used vehicles.
- Established personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity, and devises a strategy to meet those goals.
- Knows and understands equity and values.
- Report to Supervisor regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews and analyses.
Qualifications:
- College Degree preferred but not required; High school diploma or the equivalent required.
- Professional personal appearance.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to meet company's production and quality standards.
- Outstanding Computer skills required.
- Previous dealership, selling or marketing experience preferred.
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license
