This is a true management job as you will manage 8 direct sales people (all work from home). As the Territory Sales Manager, you will own the sales growth and customer retention of your area of responsibility. You will provide leadership for service sales professionals and direct sales activities with a primary focus on team sales performance, individual sales target achievement, sales resource development, business development activities, and local level key account responsibilities. The Territory Sales Manager is expected to review and direct pricing policies, oversee the renewal of key segment agreements, and customer acquisition.
Must Haves
- Management experience with direct sales people
- Travel 50%-60% (Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, Indiana). Travel is to customers and sales people
- Bachelor's degree with a technical degree preferred
- Sales Management Processes and the ability to articulate those processes
- Either current experience or the ability to understand highly technical electro-mechanical products
