Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Specialist to
join our accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts receivable
and payable processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable:
Post all revenue from real estate transactions.
Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding payments.
Prepare and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
Accounts Payable:
Receive and review invoices from vendors.
Verify the accuracy of invoices and ensure proper authorization.
Process invoices for payment and schedule payments according to terms.
Maintain vendor records and track expenses.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Assist with month-end closing procedures.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficient in accounting software and Excel.
Excellent data entry and accuracy skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
Real estate industry experience is a plus.
