Key Responsibilities (Supervisory/Materials/Information)
- Monitor various reports both internal (LII) and external
- Create and provide reports
- Monitor Rapid Class Beacon – Should be monitored primarily by processing team
- Communicate Issues with
- Resolve issues entries such as obtaining release dates or cancelling entries
- Maintain various spreadsheets used in relation to client imports
- Facilitate and track Licensed AES filings – Otay Mesa
- Monitor the NAFTA & 9801 entry update process
- Maintain PGA information in clients LII Database
- Monitor & maintain the clients part database for HTS & OGA data
- Inform LII operations of clients import requirements and changes
- Obtain entry information for specific shipments
- Monitor clients OPS e-mail in conjunction with GTO
- Obtain information using client systems
- CCS
- On Demand
- SAP
- Obtain information for various types of entry issues
- ADD/CVD
- Bearings
- Census
- 9803 Claims
- Facilitate IT changes as required by LII and/client
- Work with LII IT contacts to ensure client receives requested electronic data in their CDW & On-Demand systems
- Complete various projects as directed by the client
- Post Entry Assistance – Assist in maintaining the post entry process such as electronic document files, paper files, post entry database and managing broker communications.
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Minimum three years’ import/export experience
- Preference to candidates with customs brokerage experience
- CCS Preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while auditing and/or entering data.
