We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Restaurant Manager to join our team.
Job Summary
The Front of House Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service and overseeing all front-of-house activities. This position requires leadership skills, interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and a desire to build a great positive team.. The ideal candidate will manage staff, train new employees, and maintain high standards of service quality.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the front of house, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.
- Manage and train staff, fostering a positive team atmosphere.
- Implement food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise promptly and professionally.
- Schedule shifts effectively to maintain adequate staffing levels during busy periods.
- Monitor inventory levels for food and beverage supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Conduct staff premeals to communicate updates, policies, and nightly agenda
Qualifications
- Proven experience in team management within the food industry, preferably in a front-of-house role.
- Culinary knowledge with an understanding of food service operations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, create a positive, friendly environment and develop staff.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
- Experience in bartending is a plus
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive approachable attitude.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $60,781.00 - $67,000.00 per year
