What are we looking for in our Administrative Support III?

Job Title: Administrative Support

Location: Monroe, OH (onsite)

Job Type: 12-Month W2 Contract (1 year)

Pay Rate: $20-$22/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8-hour shift starting between 8-9 AM

Job Overview:

Amazon is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to provide high-level administrative assistance. This role involves scheduling, managing reports, coordinating events, and supporting inventory removals from AWS warehouses. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars
  • Handle incoming calls, provide information, and take dictation
  • Draft memos, transcribe notes, and create presentations
  • Generate reports, track invoices, and manage expense reports
  • Assist with compiling and developing the annual budget
  • Support inventory removals from AWS warehouses
  • Maintain distribution lists and support internal communication efforts
  • Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and guidelines

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred)

Experience: 5 years of administrative support experience

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, data management)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • SharePoint and data management tools preferred

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
