Pay Rate: $55 - $61 per hour
Job Description:
The Community Investment team is responsible for leading efforts with Corporate Donations and the Employee Giving program. Through this work, Community Investment accelerates the pace of positive change the organization wishes to see in the world. This role will support day-to-day operations, Corporate Donations, and potentially Employee Giving and other aspects of Community Investment, while also identifying solutions for operational growth.
As the Community Investment Grants Associate within the Environment, Policy, and Social Initiatives organization, you will work with a globally dispersed cross-functional team to manage and oversee various grants.
This position ensures a smooth workflow, organizes schedules and trackers, and routinely communicates with a wide array of individuals while supporting the mission and vision of the organization. Strong organizational skills, confidentiality, business insight, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role. The role involves significant administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment with multiple parallel deliverables.
Key Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in high-tech project management.
- Experience in Social Impact, CSR, and non-profit engagement, with a focus on grant management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple grants while executing tactical activities and tasks.
- Track record of Community Engagement at a strategic level within an organization of comparable size and complexity.
- Ability to plan, communicate, manage, and organize multiple projects with competing priorities and different timescales.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Highly self-motivated and self-managing.
- Flexible, resourceful, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of bringing structure and clarity to unstructured processes.
- Experience working with and supporting senior leadership.
- Familiarity with Mac OS X and iOS is a must.
- Strong proficiency in Keynote, Numbers, and Pages.
- Must be able to support standard working hours in the Pacific Time Zone.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee Corporate Grants for qualified organizations.
- Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams to ensure all grant program processes are followed.
- Support, organize, and scope the next phases of the Community Investment grant programs.
- Manage relationships with corporate donation recipients and source new potential community partners to introduce them to employees, inspiring engagement and action.
- Assist with program administration, raw data importing of legacy information, financial processing, and additional program needs.
- Oversee and manage program inboxes, ensuring timely and efficient handling of incoming inquiries and requests from internal and external stakeholders.
- Collect and evaluate impact reports from program stakeholders to provide insights for continuous program improvement and strategic decision-making.
- Perform other tasks as needed.
Education:
- College degree preferred.
