Job Title: Logistics Coordinator – Hybrid
Location: St Paul, MN - Hybrid (In-office 3 days a week, Remote 2 days)
Pay Rate: $31 - $33/hr.
Duration: 6 Months W2 Contract-to-Hire
About The Role
Are you a logistics or supply chain enthusiast looking for an exciting opportunity to optimize and drive the efficient movement of energy products? We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to help with the scheduling and logistics analysis of natural gas liquids (NGLs) from inventory locations to terminals. This role will work closely with a team to ensure products are delivered on time, in the most cost-effective way, while meeting the ever-changing demand in a dynamic market. Key Responsibilities:
- Support Rail and Pipeline Product Schedulers (30%): Help schedule products to meet inventory goals, while avoiding outages or overages.
- Support Rail Analyst (30%): Manage contract receipts and deliveries, ensuring they are cost-effective and meet volume agreements. Build strong relationships with exchange partners.
- Demand Forecasting & Systems Input (20%): Keep reporting current and accurate while processing timely payments for invoices.
- Inventory Control/Position Management (10%): Assist in daily distribution tasks, ensuring accurate inventory reporting to support decision-making.
- Position Reporting (10%): Understand and support the Daily Position Reporting process to provide back-up coverage when needed.
Basic Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years in logistics or supply chain management including pipeline, rail, and truck logistics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Communication: Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred
- MBA or equivalent.
- Experience in energy and scheduling logistics.
- Knowledge of demand forecasting and inventory control.
