Operations Specialist/Data Entry

Russell Tobin's client, a leading manufacturing company is seeking a Data Entry Clerk. This is a 6 months contract with potential for extension/conversion for successful contractors!

Position: Data Entry Clerk

Location: Bellport, NY 11713

Duration: 6 months, with possible extension

Shift: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Pay rate: $24.00-25.70/hr on W2

Key job responsibilities (Duties):

• The Data Entry Clerk - Operations is responsible for accurate entry of all inventory transactions in MAS 500.
• The detail-oriented candidate will interact with internal partners including the warehouse, purchasing, sales, and customer service to understand the product structure, GL structure and impact of transactions on the business financials and record keeping.

Key Skills:

• 2 years of experience in Production inventory and Production planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Software applications such as Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Collaboration to ensure smooth on-boarding and off-boarding of employees
• Liaise with HR on low-level HR related matters
