Title : Shipping Logistics Coordinators
Pay Rate : $22.00 - 25.00 / hour (based on experience)
Contract role with possibility of extension / conversion
Location : Onsite M-F in Tempe, AZ / / 8 : 30am - 5pm
Our client is seeking Shipment Disruption Coordinators to join their dynamic team. This role focuses on proactively managing shipping disruptions by working closely with third-party carriers and schedulers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. While this is not a traditional customer service position, the ability to communicate professionally with clients and shipping partners is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage shipment disruptions, working with third parties to resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure inbound freight is picked up and delivered to fulfillment centers efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with shippers and carriers via email and occasional outbound calls (approximately 10 per day) to clarify or reschedule shipments when necessary.
- Utilize computers and logistics systems extensively to track, update, and manage shipments.
- Perform case-by-case problem-solving, as each situation is unique.
