What are the responsibilities and job description for the Strategic Sourcing & Procurement position at Russell Tobin?
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Buyer/Contingent to oversee and execute procurement strategies across multiple categories/commodities. In this role, you'll manage strategic sourcing, lead RFx events, and negotiate contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, and amendments. A strong understanding of financial and regulatory compliance is required, with experience in financial services or banking being beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and manage supplier relationships.
- Develop multi-year spend strategies and sourcing frameworks.
- Negotiate contracts and facilitate contract renewals/terminations.
- Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to align sourcing plans with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in sourcing, contract management, and negotiations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with Ariba Spend Management and eMarketplace preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; CPM or CPSM certification a plus.
