Job Summary
The Bartender/Server at Russellville Country Club is responsible for providing exceptional service to members and guests by preparing and serving beverages, taking food orders, and ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. This role requires a strong knowledge of mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Bartending Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to club recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies.
- Check identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Handle cash register operations accurately, processing payments and managing tabs for customers.
Serving Duties:
- Greet members and guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen/bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high service standards.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas, including cleaning tables and resetting for the next guests.
General Responsibilities:
- Maintain knowledge of the club's menu, specials, and promotions to provide recommendations.
- Assist with private events, banquets, and club functions as needed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation.
- Work collaboratively with the Food & Beverage team to ensure seamless service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or a related hospitality role is preferred.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of drink recipes, bar operations, and responsible alcohol service.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with KDS system is preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years old to tend the bar and 19 years old to serve.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
